Christina is thrilled to be joining The Prep, as educating and nurturing young artists is her greatest passion. Christina began her professional career in The Joffrey Ballet and made her breakthrough to Broadway with The Red Shoes. Other Broadway credits include: Putting It Together, with Carol Burnett (Stand-by for Ruthie Henshall); The Producers (original cast) and Young Frankenstein (U/S Sutton Foster.) She has toured nationally in A Chorus Line (Judy, Cassie) and internationally in West Side Story (Anita). Regional credits include: Man of La Mancha (Aldonza); No No Nanette (Flora); A Saint She Ain’t (Rita Hayworth); My Way (Woman 2); The Sound of Music (Maria). Film: The Producers (Opening Nighter). She has been a principal soloist in multiple symphony concerts with maestros Eric Kunzel of The Cincinnati Pops and Steve Reineke of the New York Pops. Choreography: The Producers, The King and I, Moana, Rock of Ages, Mean Girls, Jr.
Christina offers a unique perspective to young artists preparing for auditions, as she has been on both sides of the casting table assisting directors/choreographers: Susan Stroman, Warren Carlyle, Walter Painter, Christopher D’Amboise, Sam Viverito, Jodi Moccia, et al. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Special Education from Georgian Court University. Christina is a certified elementary educator, songwriter, playwright, lover of all things Broadway, stage and screen, and a proud member of SAG/AFTRA, Equity, and ASCAP.
